Long time no post!
Well I’m happy to report that i have a new collection of comics coming out this spring! It will be ready for the Toronto Comic Arts Festival or TCAF this May, and I’m really excited to share it with you! Here’s a little write up:
“Life Without Parole is a collection of comics by illustrator/artist Robb Mirsky. Cumulated from annuals of his out-of-print mini comics, random sketchbook imaginings and comics published elsewhere, Mirsky’s collection makes its debut at TCAF 2018!
The subject matter ranges from bank robberies to baseball games; from dogs with jobs to lemons with attitude. This 76 page riot is sure to have you laughing and cringing, giggling and hollerin’ (often at the same time)!
The book is also one of four new releases from the Read More Comix gang coming this May!”
So, I’ll see you at TCAF?!
Playing around in my sketchbook, trying my hand at slightly different approaches. I made a giant black blob on the page with a brush and drew a weirdo face with my white-out pen. I like the results, might try to incorporate this into other stuff…
Last comic i made of 2017.
Lots of things happening. Lots of things to do. Stay tooned!
Every goddamn day…
Anyone else tired of the constant bombardment of bullshit and wanna jump off a cliff?… I’ll meet you at the bottom…..
Hey pals! Have a great first day back at school, from yer old friend Mirsk!
Just a friendly reminder to keep going when all you wanna do is lay down and sleep forever… I know that feeling is becoming pretty overwhelming to a lot of us these days…. PRO TIP: stay high.. seems to be working!
If you use instagram, follow me there for way more content. Mainly sketchbook and doodle stuff, but i’m way more active there.
Was just doodling around the other day, finishing my series of poorly drawn Star Wars classic posters when i heard the news that Carrie Fisher had passed away… So, this one goes out to her.. and to the rest of the fallen bunch this year… Whatta year indeed….
See my previous posters here:
Haven’t really posted any comics while we work on Read More Comix #2, but here’s one from the sketchbook as i procrastinate…
Don’t you just love going to a baseball game and having the asshole behind you scream and complain the whole time? As if they could really do better than the professionals out there? It’s unfortunate, but it’s also a reality of the game. Also a reality of the game is fly balls, so keep your eye on them and your mouth in check or you might be dealt some sweet home run justice.
